I have had the 06 for about 6mths now and for a few reasons, I plan on using the sale of the 06 to go put a down payment on financing the 6. It's missing too much for my licking. Don't get me wrong, I still love what I can do with it, but having tried the flagship, it's not the same. The main reasons: The lights for you to know where your level is make all the difference for smooth mixing. When it comes to sound design and manipulation live, having the adsr at your fingertip makes a big difference. Especially seeing as when you use the deeper option, it's too granular to control easily on the fly. The keybed is also better and that's something. If I thought I could ever afford the 8 though, I would certainly go right for that.....That keybed is very satisfying.

There are hidden features that most don't present in their demonstrations. 1) You can change the touch, which changes the sound brightness and volume. 2) There is a residual sound of resultant harmonics just like an acoustic piano. Want to check? Gently hold down any key without making a sound from it and play octaves below and above that note. When you release those octave notes you will hear a residual ring. 3). The keys don't have to return fully to the upright position to play subsequent notes. This adds so much to the touch. 4) With the LP-1 3 pedal system the middle pedal actually works and the right pedal can be "half pedaled". There is only one "con" that I can think of and mention. The shorter keys make it a bit harder when you get away from the hearts of the keys. The touch gets heavier as you get near the body of the instrument. If you're a professional it may be annoying but can be overcome. If you're an new learner you probably won't notice it much until you start invoking "touch" in your playing. I previously had a P-125 and find the 225's sound more refined and also had a Williams Allegro III, and the 225 is a huge step up from that, though the Williams was a great bargain for a first time digital piano purchase for a new learner.

Hello Tony sir Very nice review as always. I have one question I love the sound of Nord but I am little confused about the patch change in live. I need to use one touch setting sounds to instantly change is live. I have checked there’s a live mode but I don’t know how many numbers of sounds I can assign on that 5 buttons. At I need store my 40 favourite sounds for instant selection. It would be great if you have any idea, please share. Thank you! 😊

You didn't mention that if you don't have electricity source, it can rn on 1.5V batteries. Easily.

The P-225 is really a fantastic portable piano. I love mine, but the action is way too light.

Great demo by a great player. Well explained and then demonstrated. I never have seen Kawai until a used 6 showed up at a local store. I was blown away. I'm getting that or might just go with 7e.

There is no track copy function in this keyboard. How to compose songs, for this price its so frustrating!!!

Would be nice to get increased individual bowing pressure with pressure or aftertouch. Maybe a peddle to increase bowing speed too.

My stage 4 doesn't sound as brilliant as yours (e.g. when I compare my White Grand sound, I use the XL files) in all your videos (neither via headphones nor via the Nord Piano monitors) - can you explain this? Is it because of your EQ setup, the outputs you use, etc.? - What are you doing differently from the default?
